Happy Monday, y’all! Spring is in full force and I am loving every minute of it. I was searching on Pinterest the other day and I saw some painted flower pots and I just had to recreate them. I’m not nearly as crafty as most of these pins, but I’m happy with the way they turned out. I really want to recreate this watermelon one for the summer, but I may have to practice! For now, I’ll just enjoy my solid and polka dot ones. 🙂
To make these or any painted flower pot, all you need are some clay pots (I found these at Lowes) and some paint!
There are a ton of designs on Pinterest, but I stuck to something simple like solids and polka dots. I did add some ribbon to this pink pot to spice it up a little and I love how it turned out. I tied a bow in the front but you can use it either way!
I’m dying to recreate one like a watermelon! That might just be a future weekend project! 🙂

What did you use to make such perfect polka dots??

I used little round sponge brushes. I found them at Hobby Lobby, but Michael's has them too. 🙂
