It’s Wednesday, so that means it’s time for a What I Wore post! I started posting my daily outfits on Instagram back at the beginning of February in an effort to hold myself accountable for using more of my closet. Since today is the first Wednesday of May, I thought I’d share some of my favorite outfits from April.
top (local boutique) // linen pants (obsessed!) // shoes (white mountain, old) similar here and on sale! // necklace (Charming Charlies, old)
One of my very favorites has to be this outfit. Not only is it comfy, but I am in love with these leopard pants. I love pretty much anything in a leopard print, but when I saw these J.Crew linen pants, I knew I had to own them. They have a pretty ruffle detail at the top that would look great with a crop top or top tucked in. Love!
After wearing this outfit, I realized how much I love turquoise and navy together. We aren’t allowed to wear denim jeans to work, so I stocked up on these colored jeans because they fit so well and are so comfy and easy to pair with different outfits.
top (tea an rose, purchased at a local boutique) // scarf // jeans // shoes // handbag (old, Kate Spade)
Since I can’t wear jeans throughout the week, I spend pretty much my entire weekend in them! I LOVE these ripped jeans that I wore with this outfit. Pineapple Jack Rogers, a Lilly Putlizer scarf, and ripped jeans. An outfit filled with my favorite things!
peach shirt ($7!) // jacket (TJ Maxx) // jeans // shoes // leopard foldover clutch // necklaces (Charming Charlies)
Another leopard look! I wore this to a family dinner one Sunday afternoon after shopping. Army green and peach is another favorite color combo and I loved pairing it with the leopard.
While I was shopping at GAP, I noticed they had paired a plain white scarf with a navy sleeveless top. I loved the look and decided to recreate it using pieces I already had. I completed the look with my new Tory Burch Miller sandals in navy and white and thus another favorite outfit was born!
dress // shoes (currently on sale!) // handbag (Kate Spade, old) // necklace, bracelet (Charming Charlie’s)
Easter Sunday in Lilly Pulitzer. I can’t have a favorite outfits recap and not include a Lilly dress. I recently bought this one as well and I can’t wait to wear it in May!
So that’s my April favorites recap! Since posting outfits on Instagram, I feel like I am using SO MUCH MORE of my closet and having so much fun doing it! I hate to admit it, but I had gotten very sloppy in my work/personal fashion and I’m loving rediscovering my love of clothes and accessories!
