Products that are worth the investment

Beauty· lifestyle· Uncategorized

Hi friends! I’ve been wanting to do a post on these products for a long time. Sometimes it’s hard to justify spending a lot on certain beauty products, especially when you don’t know if they are going to work with your skin/hair or if they are going to last. I want to share 4 different products that may be a little expensive, but are well worth it because they last for the longest time!

{1}
Sunday Riley Ceramic Slip Clay Cleanser
This is my newest holy grail product. Back in November or December, I went to Sephora and asked one of the girls working there if she could recommend a good facial cleanser. She immediately started talking to me about this one from Sunday Riley. I had never tried anything from this brand before, but she went on and on about how great this cleanser was. I decided to try it out and put it in my bag without looking at the price. I was floored when it rang up for $45! I would never have picked that up if I had known it was that expensive. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise, because I quickly discovered that this product was well worth high price tag. It lasted for almost 3 months and that’s with me using it nightly. I first remove my makeup and then use this to cleanse my face. I LOVE it! It stinks and looks disgusting, but it is so good. I really want to try their “good genes”lactic acid treatment because that’s their best seller, but that price tag is quite a bit more and I haven’t taken the plunge just yet!
{2}
Caviar Anti Aging Omega + Nourishing Oil
I learned about this product from Emily’s blog, The Sweetest Thing. She said she used this on her hair when she straightened it and she could really tell a difference. I started using it a couple of months ago and I can tell a difference too! I swear it’s helping mine grow quicker! Like I said, I’ve been using it for about 2 months and I haven’t even used half yet. Love! It’s fragrance free, which is kinda a bummer in my book because I love “smell good products” for my hair! 😉
{3}
Stlia Stay All Long Liquid Eye Liner
Oh my goodness. This product should get an award as longest lasting product ever. I purchased this exact one in May of last year and it ran out LAST WEEK! I cannot believe how long this liquid eye liner has lasted. Besides the fact that you absolutely get your money’s worth in this product, it is super easy to use! Everyone recommended it when I started researching liquid eye liners and they were right. It glides right on and stays put!

Becca Mineral Blush
Becca blushes are by far my favorite blushes for two reasons: 1) They last forever! and 2) They are VERY pigmented. I do wish they had more of a color selection, but you can’t beat the quality. I’ve had this particular blush for almost 6 months and I haven’t even hit pan on it yet. Love!

What I read this week 🩷📖 It took me all wee What I read this week 🩷📖

It took me all week to read The Favorites by Layne Fargo, which usually means I’m not loving a book, but I’m thrilled that’s not the case with this book! It was just a super busy week for me so I didn’t read as much every day as I wanted, but I absolutely LOVED this book! It releases January 14, so mark your calendars now! I don’t even love figure skating/ ice dancing (honestly I’ve never even heard of this) and I still was obsessed with this book. Highly highly recommend!

Synopsis:

She might not have a famous name, funding, or her family’s support, but Katarina Shaw has always known that she was destined to become an Olympic skater. When she meets Heath Rocha, a lonely kid stuck in the foster care system, their instant connection makes them a formidable duo on the ice. Clinging to skating—and each other—to escape their turbulent lives, Kat and Heath go from childhood sweethearts to champion ice dancers, captivating the world with their scorching chemistry, rebellious style, and roller-coaster relationship.

Until a shocking incident at the Olympic Games brings their partnership to a sudden end.

As the ten-year anniversary of their final skate approaches, an unauthorized documentary reignites the public obsession with Shaw and Rocha, claiming to uncover the “real story” through interviews with their closest friends and fiercest rivals. Kat wants nothing to do with the documentary, but she can’t stand the thought of someone else defining her legacy. So, after a decade of silence, she’s telling her story: from the childhood tragedies that created her all-consuming bond with Heath to the clash of desires that tore them apart. Sensational rumors have haunted their every step for years, but the truth may be even more shocking than the headlines
