My class is loving poetry this year, so I decided to spice things up a little and let my big kids have craft time! I overlook crafting with 5th graders, because time just doesn’t allow it, but I forget how much they love it and how it gets EVERYONE involved and engaged in the activity. Today, we whipped up a quick and easy (my favorite!) Frankenstein craft and wrote a poem that consisted of 3 stanzas. They turned out so stinkin’ cute!
