Fall Fashion Haul

Beauty· lifestyle· Uncategorized

Fall is officially here and though it may not feel like it here in Alabama (it’s currently in the high 80s/low 90s each day), my closest is ready for the cool temps! I have been stocking up on new fall pieces since July, y’all! See this post to understand why I haven’t bought new fall clothes in two years! I’m making up for lose time 😉
Like I said, I’ve been buying new sweaters for the last couple of months. Every few days I’ll check to see if something I’ve got my eye on has gone on sale. I’ll link everything that is still available! Runs big! I didn’t size down, but I don’t think it would have been too small if I had.
Free People Ottoman Slouchy Tunic
I’ll start with my favorite sweater! I am in love with this pretty pink sweater from Free People. The minute I saw it and I knew I had to have it. It’s everything I love in a sweater: pink, a high neck, and a long, almost tunic length. I bought this in late July/early August. It’s currently sold out in pink on the Free People site, but it’s still available at Nordstrom. It also comes in a gray, purple, and white.
Love, love, love!
GAP cardigan
I’m not a huge fan of cardigans, but I do love this one! I hate a long cardigan that is sloppy and tends to fall down throughout the day and get bigger as you wear it. This one is made really well and stays put! GAP is always running a 40% off code on their site, which makes this piece affordable! I got the cream color, but I really want the dull rose one too!
Free People Crazy Hearts Tee ***Currently on sale for $49.95!
Y’all know I’m obsessed with the FP Crazy Hearts Tees. They run really big though, so size down if you order! I have the white, pink, and I just couldn’t resist this burnt orange color for fall.

HM
I’ll admit, I almost sent this one back because I hate a short top on me. I decided to keep it and just wear a shirt underneath to add some length because I really do like the color. It’s a brighter peachy/orange. Runs TTS/slightly bigger

HM
This one photographs much sloppier than it appears IRL! I really like this one even though it’s shorter. I love the neck and I really like the baggy sleeves! The material is also really good on this one. It’s very soft! Runs TTS

LOFT
I already shared this sweater with y’all in a Friday favs post, but it’s one of my favorites that I’ve bought this year! I LOVE the sleeves! It runs TTS.

Loft Currently 40% off!
I LOVE this one! Give me all the turtlenecks and black and white striped tops. I especially love this one because you can wear it right now. It runs TTS.

ASOS
When I saw a fashion blogger wearing this leopard dress, I immediately ordered it. I LOVE leopard for the Fall and this one reminds me on Gossip Girl for some reason. I am obsessed! It runs slightly bigger than normal.
TOPSHOP Gingham Overalls
Currently not available in the gingham, but I’ve linked the other prints/colors that are still available. FYI: That gorgeous pink is not a true color. I originally ordered it and had to send them back because they were more of a maroon
These run small! I currently cannot wear them, but it’s my goal to get in them by mid October! They are just a bit too tight in the hip area! I just love them though! I really want a pair of cute denim overalls too!

Halogen Leopard Cardigan
I wore this cardigan last week and I love it! I had started to send it back because it wasn’t as long as I would have liked, but I ended up keeping it and I’m really glad I did. It runs TTS, but keep in mind that it isn’t a longer, grandfather type cardigan like I had hoped!
ASOS

This oversized sweater is the perfect thrown on sweater! I just wish it came in more colors. It runs TTS.
**Please note, I don’t plan on wearing all these sweaters with black leggings and leopard loafers. I was just trying them on for the purpose of this post! Although I am obsessed with these shoes and would wear them every single day if they went with everything! 😉 Sadly they are sold out in every size except 6, so if you are loving them too but missed them, I’m dying for this pair too!

What I read this week 🩷📖 It took me all wee What I read this week 🩷📖

It took me all week to read The Favorites by Layne Fargo, which usually means I’m not loving a book, but I’m thrilled that’s not the case with this book! It was just a super busy week for me so I didn’t read as much every day as I wanted, but I absolutely LOVED this book! It releases January 14, so mark your calendars now! I don’t even love figure skating/ ice dancing (honestly I’ve never even heard of this) and I still was obsessed with this book. Highly highly recommend!

Thanks for my early review copy, @atrandombooks

Synopsis:

She might not have a famous name, funding, or her family’s support, but Katarina Shaw has always known that she was destined to become an Olympic skater. When she meets Heath Rocha, a lonely kid stuck in the foster care system, their instant connection makes them a formidable duo on the ice. Clinging to skating—and each other—to escape their turbulent lives, Kat and Heath go from childhood sweethearts to champion ice dancers, captivating the world with their scorching chemistry, rebellious style, and roller-coaster relationship.

Until a shocking incident at the Olympic Games brings their partnership to a sudden end.

As the ten-year anniversary of their final skate approaches, an unauthorized documentary reignites the public obsession with Shaw and Rocha, claiming to uncover the “real story” through interviews with their closest friends and fiercest rivals. Kat wants nothing to do with the documentary, but she can’t stand the thought of someone else defining her legacy. So, after a decade of silence, she’s telling her story: from the childhood tragedies that created her all-consuming bond with Heath to the clash of desires that tore them apart. Sensational rumors have haunted their every step for years, but the truth may be even more shocking than the headlines
