I posted on Instagram (msleslieann01) a few weeks ago my love of the the Who Was series. These are WONDERFUL resources for teaching biographies and they are working great in our fifth grade room. I created a pack of guided reading activities to use with the “Who was Johnny Appleseed?” book since it’s almost John Chapman’s birthday. This book is filled with interesting facts. The unit would be great for small groups. Here’s what’s included:
