Hi friends! It’s Sunday, so that means it’s time for another Plan with Me post! Here are my plans for the week of Halloween! 🙂 Any resources mentioned will be linked at the bottom of this post. Hope everyone has a wonderful week! 🙂
I’ve had a lot of questions about my lesson planner. It’s actually an agenda! I love using planners/agendas for my lesson plans because it makes it more fun! I got mine at Target. It’s the Blue Sky Daily Designer. 🙂 The paperclips were a DIY project! 🙂
Here’s the visual plans for the week. I’ve started using my skill passage packs as an individual activity, which takes longer to get through but I like that I can see which students are struggling and which ones get it. I copy each passage (there are 10 included) and make a “book” for each student and we work our way through the passages.
This is from my Teaching Theme pack

Quick Draws (Free!) I blogged about how I use these here.

I am totally in love with your blog. You do such an awesome job and I appreciate all the information you share. I currently teach in a self-contained fifth grade classroom. We are looking at switching things around next year and breaking up the subjects among the three teachers for the kids to switch classrooms. Our school has done this in the past, however last year they stopped doing it because of the heaviness of the subject load. As we look to possibly trying to implement this again, I would love to know how other school are handling the switching of classes and breaking up of schedules among teachers. Can you share with me what subjects you teach and how your schedule is broken out daily so that you can hit everything? We are struggling to make a schedule that fits a true 90 minute block of time. There just doesn't seem to be enough hours in our school day. Thank you for any feedback you can give! Again I appreciate all you do for the community of blogging!
