Happy Tuesday, teacher friends! We are all pretty much Google Classroom pros at this point, right? LOL I shared how I spiced up my Google Classroom with some animated snow in the header on Instagram last night and I had some questions about how I did this. It is beyond easy, y’all! I thought I would just take a few screenshots and walk y’all through this easy, EASY way to make Google Classroom a little more fun for the kids!
Step 1: Search for a gif
Since it’s January and we are crossing alllll our fingers and toes for some snow here in Alabama, I decided to do a snow background for the header. I went to Google and searched “winter gif”
Step 2: Save Image As GIF
When you find the one you want, right click and click “save image as.” MAKE SURE THE FORMAT IS GRAPHICS INTERCHANGE FORMAT” (you know, gif)
It doesn’t work with every gif for some reason, so if you try one and it doesn’t work, just pick another!
Step 3: Head to Google Classroom and Upload!
**I always download things to my desktop so I can find them easily, but yours may go to another folder.
And that’s it! Again, it may not work for every image, so you might have to try more than one. Luckily mine worked the very first time! 🙂 Hope this works for y’all 🙂
