I’ve just started my 7th year of teaching.What?!? That’s crazy talk! I cannot believe it’s been 7 years since I got my first teaching job. I spent 4 years in first grade and I’m now entering my 3 year of 5th. I much prefer teaching the older grades! I would have NEVER thought than, but 5th is such a better fit for me!

I am a huge bookworm. In fact, you probably already know this if you follow me on Instagram. I’m always in the middle of a book! And I like to share what I’m reading with y’all. You can follow me on Goodreads to see what I’ve read so far this year. I’m doing a 50 book challenge and have currently read 33!

I bought my first house last summer and I LOVE decorating it!

I have a Life+Style blog where I occasionally post. This blog serves as a motivator to not become completely absorbed in teaching, which I tend to do. Not that this is a bad thing, but I also tend to let myself go. I’m slowly trying to find that balance but it’s hard! When I started my teaching blog, I felt like my teaching got so much better, so I’m hoping the Life+Style blog will have the same affect! Follow me on BlogLovin‘!
